Just visit your nearest gunshop. Can't recommend one because I don't know where you are. Look in yellow pages under Armurerie or Armurier - one is the person the other is the shop.

Thank you allyn - I couldn't get to a gun shop without hubby being with me and it is a gift for him - so I will buy the one that I have seen (the person brought it to me) and as for the licence ..............hubby is up on all of that.

The buyer ie you, need to have a licence or a hunting permit to buy a Category 5 firearm ie a double barrelled shotgun. It is illegal to buy without a licence. And you are posting on the internet to say that you are doing this.

As has been pointed out, a side by side is not generally recommended for clay pigeon shooting, an under and over being preferred.

You admit more or less that you know nothing about shotguns or their value. You might be buying a damaged or dangerous gun.

Do it properly. Do it legally.
