The Norman Spirit has been replaced by the Cote d'Albatre on the Portsmouth to Le Havre route.
The Norman Spirit is replacing the fast craft Norman Arrow on the Dover to Boulogne route, the fast craft will spend the winter in Portsmouth before operating the Portsmouth to Le Havre route next year for the summer.
A dedicated freight ship has replaced the Norman Voyager and is providing extra freight space on the Portsmouth to Le Havre service as the Cote d'Albatre is smaller than the Norman Spirit.
The Norman Voyager has been chartered to Celtic Line for them to operate a Portsmouth to Cherbourg service during the week and a Cherbourg to Rosslare service at weekends. Celtic Links ship the Diplomat operates Cherbourg to Rosslare during the week and Portsmouth to Cherbourg at weekends.
The Diplomat is an old ship which is more of a freighter than anything else, with very limited onboard facilities.
