| Depends if you are buying from an english vendor or french - french seem to have greater expectations as to the price of anything like this. Also it will depend on the condition of the gun and its age - the french don't look after their guns very well. In reasonable condition a good price would be between 300 & 500 euros, but bear in mind brand new they will cost you 1300 euros for top quality. If you can buy from UK you will get a much better deal.

Hi You haven't said what experience you have with shotguns and what type of shooting this gun will be used for. If your looking for a general purpose clay gun, I personally would not go for the Winchester model 23 as it is a side by side shotgun and not normally the type of barrel configuration for clay shooting. Although there is nothing to stop you from using one for clays. I have checked on a few English websites and would agree with the prices quoted by dumpertruck as the Euro is not that far away from the pound now. Most side by sides in the UK do not realise any real value unless they are of a reasonable quality as most shooters prefer over and under Shotguns. Try www.guntrader.co.uk to get a rough idea of what is available and comparible prices. Good luck with your search. Regards, Adriano.
